Itinerary Perjalanan

Day 01: AIRPORT – BUKIT LAWANG/BAHOROK

Upon arrival at Kualanamu Airport, meet and greet. Then proceed drive to Bukit lawang one of the main access to gunung leuser national park around formerly the Orangutan rehabilitation care center. And one of Indonesia’s oldest national park, which is covering 7.927 km2 in northern Sumatra straddling the border of North Sumatra and Aceh Provinces.

On arrival in Bukit lawang, proceed to lodge for accomodation. Free at own leisure to enjoy the nature of Bukit Lawang where you can also walking to the village around the hotel. Overnight in Bukit Lawang

Day 02: EXPLORE BAHOROK – JUNGLE CAMP (B/L/D)

After break fast you will explore the jungles, walking through to the Jungle to reach the shelter for Jungle camping, on the way to the camp, with chance to observe several various of flora and fauna at the tropical rainforest. accompanied by local ranger. Enjoy the adventure where you can see the wildlife in the forest. If you are lucky, you may encounter Orangutan, macaque, gibbons and various types of birds, overnight at shelter/tent.

WHAT TO BRING FOR VISITING OF ORANG UTAN & JUNGLE TREKKING (take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints):

• Camera and binoculars.

• Light clothes (including long trousers & long sleeved shirt), sun hat or visor with a chin strap, secure head straps for sunglasses or eyeglasses (if worn), comfortable sturdy walking shoes, leach socks and rain poncho.

• Any personal medication which are taking regularly, such as chloroquin, prescription drugs, etc Sun block cream to be used on exposed skin and insect repellent for those who are particularly sensitive to bug bites.

• An unbreakable water bottle.

• A photocopy of your passport

? Orangutans could get particularly close in this area but please do not attempt to touch them as the risk of spreading disease (particularly from us to them) is high and also as wild animals, they are unpredictable and have been known to cause injuries in the past.

The journey is quite physically demanding as the trek cuts a path through the ancient rain forest and high hills. If one starts feeling uncomfortable (not fit and healthy), one is welcome to stay at the hotel instead.

Day 03: JUNGLE CAMP - BAHOROK (B/L)

After breakfast, proceed for jungle trekking to surrounding the other side of the rain forest. After early lunch return to Bahorok/Lodge with tubing. On arrival at the lodge check in and refreshment. At the appropriate time proceed for Becak tour for explore bukit lawang/bahorok to witness how the local people live and their daily actifities

Day 04: BUKIT LAWANG/BAHOROK - AIRPORT (B)

After breakfast and at the appropriate time you will transferred to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
